ある日の風景～大間原発予定地内にて　  Landscape of one day　～　At the planned site of Oma Nuclear Power Plant

青森県、大間町は下北半島の突端に位置している。

対岸には函館が見える。

そこで、フルＭＯＸの原子力発電所の建設が進んでいた。

その建設予定地内、ど真ん中に2006年5月に亡くなられた熊谷あさ子さんが守りつづけていた、土地がある。

どんな嫌がらせを受けても、あさ子さんが守り続けたため、工事が遅れ、大間原発にはまだ核燃料が入っていない。

今はご家族がその意志を継ぎ守っている。

原発予定地はもともと多くの畑があるなだらか丘陵地帯。

畑のものがすくすくと育つ。

そこを降りていけば、白砂海岸が広がっていて、昆布等の海藻類や貝類などが海流のおかげで沢山採れたそうだ。

そんな場所の、ある一日の写真です。

Oma Town, Aomori Prefecture, is located at the tip of the Shimokita Peninsula.
Hakodate City is visible on the opposite bank.

There, the construction of a full MOX nuclear power plant was in progress.

In the middle of the construction site, there is a land in the middle of which was protected by Mrs Asako Kumagai, who died in May 2006.Despite various harassment, Asako-san continued to protect it, so construction work was delayed and nuclear fuel has not yet entered the Oma Nuclear Power Plant.

Now her family is following  protects her land.

The planned site of the nuclear power plant is originally a rolling hill with many fields.

So the vegetables grow quickly.

If you get off there, the white sand beach spreads out and many seaweeds such as kelp and shellfish were collected due to the ocean current.
