青森県大間町　to　Pu　　　　　Oma   to  pu

「大間の海は宝の海。この自然と土地、そしてこの豊かな海さえ守っていけば・・・どんな事があっても生きていける。」　

　青森県下北郡大間町、津軽海峡を挟んで北海道が眼前に広がっている。場所を移動すれば仏ケ浦や津軽半島も見る事ができる。この大間町の原子力発電所建設予定地内の炉心近くに一人の地元の女性の畑と土地が守られています。冒頭の言葉は一人になっても土地を守ってこられたこの女性、熊谷あさ子さんがおっしゃっていた言葉です。　

　私が初めてここを訪れたのは2006年の12月で熊谷あさ子さんが亡くなられたのはその年の初夏の事で、残念ながら私は熊谷さんとは一度もお会いした事はありません。

　今はご家族がその意志を継いでそこを守っています。

　元々大間の町の人達の畑があった地帯に原子力発電所は建設されています。そこは白い砂浜が続く白砂海岸がありその海岸線から丘陵になっている場所です。白砂海岸は津軽海峡の流れの影響で海藻類など海の恵みが集まってくる場所でもあったそうです。

　これらの場所に建設の手が入ったのは2001年から。原子力発電所建設の計画が大間の町で出たのは1976年。その長い間に建設予定地内は熊谷さんの土地だけになっていました。

　その場所を撮りにいきました。これらは、2006年12月から2009年5月までのほんの短い期間のその畑やその周辺の場所の模様です。

Oma Town, Shimokita District, Aomori Prefecture.Hokkaido is in front of you across the Tsugaru Strait.You can also see the Hotokegaura and Tsugaru Peninsula.A local woman's field and land are protected near the reactor core in the planned site of the nuclear power plant in Oma Town.The words at the beginning were the words that Asako Kumagai, who  protected the land even if she was alone, said.

I first visited here in December 2006. Asako Kumagai died in the early summer of that year, and unfortunately I never met her.

Now, her family continues to protect those.

The nuclear power plant will be originally building in the area where the fields of the people of Oma town were originally located.There was a long white sand beach. There was a field of townspeople in a hilly area from the coastline.The white sand beach was a place where sea blessings such as seaweed gathered under the influence of the flow of the Tsugaru Strait.
It was in 2001 that construction of a nuclear power plant  was started. It was in 1976 that a plan to build a nuclear power plant came out in Oma Town.In the planned construction site, which was originally the land of the townspeople for a long time, only Mrs Kumagai's land remained.

I went to take a picture of those place.These pictures are from Mrs Kumagaya's field and the surrounding area between December 2006 and May 2009.
